Thanksgiving gatherings to December movie nights
Pick the holiday movie without the shouting.
Add your list, take turns ranking in private on one device, and watch the count round by round. A tie stays a tie until the room agrees.
For 2 to 12 people and 3 to 12 films. Rankings stay on this screen and are cleared when the count is done.

Who is voting, and what is on the list?
Use nicknames, so the paper slips and the screen stay friendly. Runtimes are optional; they only matter if you set a longest length.
Here is the lineup
Pass the device
Everyone else look away while this ballot is filled in. Rank the films you like, best first.
Rank your favorites
Tap films in order, best first. Tap a ranked film again to take it off. Leave out any you would rather skip: your ballot simply stops counting once your ranked films are gone.

Agree on one together
The count cannot choose between these. If the room talks it over and agrees, record that choice here.
How the count went
Winning-night card
A 1080 by 1350 picture with the film and the time, ready to send to the family chat. No rankings go on it.
Film:
The individual rankings left this screen the moment the count finished. Only the round totals above remain.
How the count works
A standard ranked-choice (instant-runoff) count, explained in plain words at every round.
1Everyone ranks
Each person puts their favorites in order, best first, in private. You can stop after one film or rank them all.
2Fewest votes leaves
Each ballot counts for its top film still in the running. Win with more than half of the counting ballots. If nobody does, the film with the fewest votes leaves and its ballots move to their next choice.
3A tie stays a tie
If the films left are level, the result says so. No coin flip is dressed up as a winner; the room agrees on one, or ranks again.
Pick the right tool for the night
This one settles a single question: which film are we watching. The other Cozy Season pages do different jobs.
Holiday movie vote
Chooses one film for one night, fairly, and ends with a title and a time.
Holiday movie bingo
Plays during the film. Spot the sleigh bells and the almost-kiss; it never chooses what you watch.
Advent calendar
Lays out 24 December nights in advance, with a theme for each one.
Movie night planner
A week-before timeline for snacks, seating and roles. The film is already decided.
Watch list tracker
Records what you have watched, weekend by weekend, with a mug rating.
Questions from the sofa
Can we vote from different places?
The ballot is made for one device passed around the room. Each person ranks the films in private, locks in, and hands it on to the next nickname.
What happens when two films tie?
The result says it is a tie and shows every round of the count. Nothing is picked at random. If the room agrees on one of the tied films, tick the agreement box and the winning-night card is made for that film.
What is an exhausted ballot?
A ballot is exhausted when every film the person ranked has already left the count. It stops counting from that round on, and the round totals show how many ballots that is. Ranking more films keeps your ballot in play longer.
Why set a longest runtime?
A long film loses a family faster than any vote does. Films over your limit are removed before ranking, and any film with no runtime entered is flagged so you can add the minutes or leave it out.
Are our rankings kept?
Rankings are held in this page's memory while you vote and are removed the moment the count finishes. They never go into the address bar or onto the winning-night card, which carries only the film and the time.
How many people and films can we add?
Two to twelve people, using nicknames, and three to twelve films. Add titles by hand, or pull in the titles you saved in the Friday Four and the watch tracker on this device.
One device, one list, one film everyone can live with.
